Our Mission
The Positive Place Inc. serves returning citizens and economically disadvantaged individuals by delivering coordinated services including food distribution, health insurance enrollment, and supportive case management. These interventions are designed to reduce food insecurity, improve access to care, and increase successful community reintegration, with measurable outcomes including improved health access, reduced emergency needs, and increased self-sufficiency.

April is national re-entry month.
“Each year, more than 600,000 individuals return home from incarceration, many facing significant barriers to employment, housing, healthcare, and food security. During National Reentry Month in April, organizations across the country recognize the importance of second chances and the critical role community-based programs play in reducing recidivism. Without support, nearly two-thirds of returning citizens will be rearrested within three years. However, access to basic needs—such as meals, healthcare, and stable support systems—can dramatically improve outcomes and strengthen safer communities.”
We are pleased to partner with We Believe God Ministries and Transforming Yourself Everyday to conduct monthly food distribution to those in need every last Saturday of the month

Health Insurance Co-Payments for Returning Citizens
The Positive Place Inc is pleased to have been the recipient of the Broward Sheriff's Office Law Enfoircement Trust Fund for FY 25-26. This grant will assist returning citizens with much needed access to healthcare services and assist with their medical co-payments.
